I finally got a chance to visit my friend and her family in Texas this month. We have known each other for years, but never actually met. Both of her kids are the same age as mine (literally within weeks of each other) and we were on the same pregnancy journey with both of them. It was fabulous to finally meet her, her husband, and two adorable boys! I had so much fun with them! We also met up with my fabulous photographer friend who did my maternity session last year. So it’s been awhile since I’ve seen her too! It was a different kind of shoot for me since we went to an old train station at first. Now that I tried it, I wish I could go back and explore more! After that we headed to the botanical garden. Unfortunately, it was really hot and humid and wow, did the mosquitos bite! My legs were so bitten up and so were my friend’s older son.
