I finally got a chance to visit my friend and her family in Texas this month. We have known each other for years, but never actually met. Both of her kids are the same age as mine (literally within weeks of each other) and we were on the same pregnancy journey with both of them. It was fabulous to finally meet her, her husband, and two adorable boys! I had so much fun with them! We also met up with my fabulous photographer friend who did my maternity session last year. So it’s been awhile since I’ve seen her too! It was a different kind of shoot for me since we went to an old train station at first. Now that I tried it, I wish I could go back and explore more! After that we headed to the botanical garden. Unfortunately, it was really hot and humid and wow, did the mosquitos bite! My legs were so bitten up and so were my friend’s older son. We had fun though! Here’s a peek at their session! Miss you guys! Looking forward to seeing you again soon!!

I have been taking portraits of Miss A since she was 8 months old. It has been wonderful watching her grow into the beautiful little girl she is. Now she has a baby brother and she is so sweet with him. I cannot wait to see him grow and capture their relationship!

We will be closed from Thursday July 8 through Monday July 12. We will return your emails and phone calls on Tuesday, July 13. Have a wonderful week!
This baby boy was a gift – he made his appearance just after midnight on Father’s Day. I did maternity and family portraits when mom was pregnant with older brother J and now he’s 18 months old. Time goes by fast! Sessions are always unpredictable, especially with 3 older siblings all under the age of 4. We just go with the flow and see where they take us. We started out with family portraits, but the timing wasn’t right so we switched gears and got baby J asleep and took his solo shots. After a little break, they were all interested in seeing baby J in the basket. I just loved seeing them look at him with adoration and love. So sweet! And big brother J was happy; he got his first dum dum!

I had the pleasure of doing this family’s very first custom professional portraits. Their sweet baby girl was 13 days old and cute as can be. Her big brother is so sweet and truly, one of the easiest 3 yr olds I ever had. He was so sweet and tender with his baby sister. Their grandma was also visiting so I was able to take some wonderful shots of her with the kids as well. Miss S was so laid back and easy going. Thanks for the wonderful session!
