M is one of my dearest friends and she is getting ready to have her second. I am so happy for them and can’t wait to meet their newest little one. It’s so nice that our kids are all close in age. We were supposed to do her session earlier, but the previous weekend we were so rained out! We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather this time even though it got dimmer earlier than expected. Normally, I try to do maternity sessions earlier, but she didn’t really pop until the last few weeks! Enjoy the sneak peek!

Meet sweet little P who is 5 weeks old. Her mom didn’t realize that newborn pics were done so early and I remember all too well those first few weeks with a newborn. Getting portraits can be the last thing on your mind! Next thing you know, a month has gone by! P’s mom called me last week hoping to get a session in and thankfully I had availability this past weekend. At this age, sleeping shots are not easy, but we got some beautiful shots of her looking right at me! She is just so adorable. We even got some shots with her “big sister” A. Every dog has to have her day, right?

I have watched Miss Z grow up from a little toddler into a beautiful young lady. She is making her first Communion this year and her mom booked me to take her portraits. She specifically requested that we take a few shots outside because the last time I took pictures of her outside, her greenish eye color came out beautifully. We decided to do the session at the park despite the winter weather. Thankfully, the snow was mostly melted and it was a gorgeous 50 degrees out yesterday! I love shooting outside and I was so excited to have my first outdoor session of the year! Spring, here we come!
