Our daughter Isabella has never been attached to any lovey except her binky. She has been intrigued by frogs lately, pointing them out everywhere and saying “fra” and when asked, a frog says “ribbi.” I found a stuffed animal frog at the grocery store and she immediately loved it. She reached out for it and hugged it so tight. I went to get her this morning and this is how I found her sleeping. I had to run and get my camera to capture the moment.

We have had to reschedule the H family before because of the weather, and unfortunately, today the weather was not cooperating again! We did the session indoors in the studio and I think we got some great shots of these handsome H boys! Enjoy your sneak peek!

I had the pleasure of taking Master M’s one year portraits today! His mom and I went to high school and haven’t seen each other in years. It was great to see her again, and to meet her hubby and her adorable son! Enjoy your sneak peek!

My sister and my niece Jenna came over yesterday for lunch and we had a nice session. Jenna is a great model! She even helped me a get a good picture of Isabella by standing right behind me and making her smile. I think I have to hire her as my assistant! I couldn’t decide on just a couple of pics, so here’s the overload!

I figured it was time to take my own portraits. It’s not an easy feat by any stretch of the imagination! It’s difficult to focus properly since I don’t have myself on which to focus! I solved this problem by using a light stand where I would be (great advice from Rachel! Thanks!) The other problem is getting the right angle! I even tried to get Rich to take a few. I finally found one that seems to work. I may try again when I have a decent hair day! That was my other issue. I went to the hair salon and finally gave in to the idea that my hair is no longer straight. Ever since I had Isabella, my hair has progressively become curly. I tried to deny it, but my hairstylist and I realized it’s time to stop fighting a losing battle!
